Tandem Drink of the Month 

Month-long event | 200 N Greensboro St, Carrboro

$5 from each of their specialty DVAM drink sold throughout the month of October will be donated to Compass Center.

Blood Drive & Tabling at Compass Center

Sunday, Oct. 6th (11am - 4pm) | 210 Henderson St, Chapel Hill

Give back in multiple ways by signing up to give blood this month! Donors will receive $30 in gift cards to keep or donate back to Compass Center for families fleeing domestic violence. Link for sign up here.​

Candlelight Vigil

Thursday, Oct. 10th (7pm - 8pm) | Peace & Justice Plaza at 179 E Franklin St, Chapel Hill

A ceremony where we will honor all North Carolinians who lost their lives to domestic violence this year. Join us and ask the community to renew their commitment to end all forms of abuse. This event will include speakers and a candle-lighting ceremony.​

Friday, Oct. 11th (6:30am - 3:30 pm)  | 505 W Rosemary St, Chapel Hill

Brandwein's Bagels is your go-to spot for delicious bagels and a welcoming atmosphere. 10% of all sales on this day will go as proceeds to Compass Center!

Breaking the Silence - Grata Connect’s Benefit for Compass Center

Friday, Oct. 25th (5pm - 10 pm) | 108 Henderson St, Chapel Hill

Hop down after our open house for live music and authentic cajun food with local artist Alex Thompson. 10% of all proceeds will go to Compass Center.

Join this session to learn about our Lethality Assessment Program, high lethality risk factors, community partner relationships, and trauma-informed approaches you can use to support survivors at risk of lethality. Meeting link here.​​

In this session, learn all about our non-crisis resources and services to assist survivors across all stages of the crisis continuum. We will feature our Information & Referral services, Legal Resources services, and Career & Financial counseling.

Workshop: Latinx & LEP Services

Thursday, Oct. 31st (1pm-2pm) | Virtual 

Watch this session to get a deeper dive into our Latinx & Limited English Proficiency Services. Learn about our comprehensive, culturally competent Latinx services and how we provide responsive services for all survivors in Orange County through language access. This session will include a brief presentation of our Agency Services in Spanish!
